In the fall of 1947, Major Bill Hendricks' wife, Diane, handcrafted a Raggedy Ann doll and asked her husband to deliver the doll to an organization, which would give it to a needy child at Christmas. When the Major determined that no agency existed, Diane suggested that he start one. He did, with the help of a group of Marine Reservists from L.A....

The Salvation Army told Maui SBU President Ron Ponzo that “Street Bikers' United Christmas Toy Drive is the Single Biggest Toy Drive for Maui County!`` All Toys are donated to the Keiki of Maui County, which includes the Island of Moloka'i.
